Alloy 28 N08028 Sanicro28 1.4563 is a Ni-Fe-Cr-Mo-Cu corrosion-resistant alloy developed in the mid-1970s, named Sanicro 28, which belongs to an iron-nickel-based ultra-low carbon austenitic alloy. Alloy 28 is a corrosion-resistant alloy with many excellent properties. It has good corrosion resistance to redox media, excellent local corrosion resistance and stress corrosion cracking resistance. Alloy 28 bar, tube, plate and plate are available upon request.

Features

Alloy 28 N08028 Sanicro28 1.4563 is mainly used in wet process phosphoric acid production. Because of its excellent corrosion resistance in some harsh corrosive media, it is widely used in seawater cooling, chemical processing media containing F- and Cl-, and organic acid production. 

Application

This material is used to make evaporator tubes in wet process phosphoric acid production to concentrate phosphoric acid. In the production of sulfuric acid, Alloy 28 N08028 Sanicro28 1.4563 is used to manufacture pipes and heat exchangers. It is especially suitable for 40%~70% sulfuric acid and more than 85% sulfuric acid. The corrosion resistance is equivalent to Hastelloy C. In the oil and gas industry, 28 alloy pipes can be used as casing and lining and well pipes for deep-sea sour gas wells, and can also be used to manufacture sour gas transmission pipelines.
