Nitronic Alloy

Nitronic 50 (S20910, xm-19)Stainless Steel provides a combination of corrosion resistance and strength not found in any other commercial material. This austenitic stainless steel produce by Beall industry group has corrosion resistance greater than that provided by types 316,316L, 317, 317L plus approximately twice the yield strength at room temperature. In addition, Nitronic 50 has very good mechanical properties at both elevated and sub-zero temperatures unlike many austenitic stainless steel grades.Nitronic 50 does not become magnetic in cryogenic situations.

High Strength (HS) Nitronic 50 has a yield strength about three times that of 316 Stainless Steel.

Nitronic 50 Application field:

Used in petroleum, petrochemical, manure, chemical, nuclear fuel recycle, paper making, textile and food processing industries parts of furnace, combustion chamber, gas turbine and heat-treating facility connecting piece.

Nitronic 60 (UNS S21800, Alloy 218)Characteristic

Nitronic 60 Stainless Steel produced by Beall industry group provides a significantly lower cost way to fight galling and wear compared with cobalt-bearing and high nickel alloys. Its uniform corrosion resistance is better than type 304 in most media. In Nitronic 60, chloride pitting is superior to Type 316.

Yield strength at room temperature is nearly twice that of 304 and 316.

Nitronic 60 provides excellent high temperature oxidation resistance and low-temperature impact resistance.

Nitronic 60 Application field: Used extensively in the Power, Chemical, Petrochemical, Food and Oil & Gas industries with an array of uses including expansion joint wear plates, pump wear rings, bushings, process valve stems, seals and logging equipment.
